Early school years require essential items that can help children enjoy the school experience. Pre Kindergarten supply items for your kid must contain items needed for learning, playing, and enjoying the class. You need to prepare supplies that will make your child enjoy going to school.

If you are looking to enroll your baby in a pre kindergarten in the new school year, you need to start planning now. You don’t want to send your baby to school without the essentials items that make up a pre Kindergarten supply list.

Your child can’t remain a baby forever. He or she has to start school at some point. Now, it’s left to you to help him or her enjoy a wonderful experience at school. A pre kindergarten supply list for your baby to enjoy school should include the following.

Items for Your Pre Kindergarten Supply List

·       Art Supplies

Pre Kindergarten years are filled with colorful learning. They do more of crafting end colouring, so art supplies are essentials on the list. Buy a box of jumbo or triangular crayons for your child. They are easier to hold for pre Kindergarten kids.

Other materials to be included in the art supplies include markers, colored pencils, scissors, smock (for cleaning during arts and painting) glue sticks, and dry erase markers. These art supplies will help your child enjoy pre Kindergarten art and craft.

·       Writing Supplies

Pre Kindergarten kids will be doing ABC, imagining stories, and spelling words. They need writing supplies to achieve this. Buy jumbo pencils for your child; they are easier to hold. You should also buy pencil grips, they do a better job with early writers. The composition book is needed for writing practice. Other writing items needed include an eraser, sharpener, and folders.

·       Bags and Boxes

Pre Kindergarten kids need backpack and boxes to keep their items organized. Although they can’t carry backpacks and boxes yet, they need them to transport their supplies to school every day. They need these items so they can learn how to stay organized at an early stage.

They should have a supply box to hold writing materials and art supplies, such as pencils, crayons, markers, pencil grips, eraser, etc. This supply box stays in a compartment in the backpack. Also, include a lunch box on your pre Kindergarten supply list. Lunches and snacks go into the lunch box. You will have to carry their backpacks and lunch boxes until they can carry then on their own.

·       Miscellaneous

This category includes sanitary items like tissue boxes, antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizers, rest mat for nap time, and extra clothing.

Antibacterial wipes are used to clean your child’s desk and wipe dirt from your child’s face and hands. They also need hand sanitizers to ensure they are free from germs and bacteria that can cause cold or flu.

You need to add extra clothing to the list because kids can get messy before the end of the day. You don’t want to see your child looking dirty and messy at the end of the day, so a full set of cloth is kept at school for changing.
