Andy Tharby is a practising English teacher, with 9 years of classroom experience, at a secondary school in West Sussex. He is also a research lead with an interest in helping teachers enhance their practice through engagement with a wider evidence base. He is the co-author of ‘Making Every Lesson Count’.
In 2015, Andy Tharby and Shaun Allison had their book ‘Making Every Lesson Count’ published. The book focuses on six evidence informed pedagogical principles, that support great teaching. This session will focus on the thinking behind these six principles and how they can be implemented in the classroom.
